Anna Popnikolova graduated from Nantucket High School with a love for poetry. Before leaving her hometown for college, she wanted to start something that would celebrate her love for the arts and her love for the island.

When will the 2026 Program be available? Where can I find it?
All festival events can be found right here, on our website, two weeks out from the festival. Event registration will go live at a similar time. Sign up for our mailing list to be the first to know when readings, workshops, and more are available.
For some events, yes. Especially for workshop and historical events, seating is limited, and often requires materials and preparations beforehand. Registration for these events will be available on this website and on our partners’ sites.
Our evening readings do not require registration. The poets’ books, festival merchandise, and donation opportunities will all be available at these events.
Do I have to register to attend?
I’m a Nantucket poet, and I would love to read at your events. How can I sign up?

The Nantucket Poetry Festival operates off the generous support of locals, visitors, and island businesses. Feel free to use our donation Paypal to donate directly to the festival. You can also fill out the poets, readers, sponsors form below for larger amounts, and to speak with festival staff to discuss the funding of larger projects.
I loved your poets, and I want to purchase their books. Where can I do so?
The Nantucket Poetry Festival will be selling poets’ books at various events throughout the duration of the festival. We accept cash and card (but are unable to break larger bills). All proceeds go directly to the poets, and if you catch us at one of our public readings, chances are you’ll even get your copy signed.
